    Direct hire.  This is NOT a temp or temp to perm position.  Seeking IT professional with experience supporting SAN/NAS Storage environment in a tier 2 capacity.  Pay range from $60,000 to $75,000 a year with full benefits, but would depend on experience.  Relocation assistance available.  Long term, full time job.  Must be US Citizen clearable for a Secret clearance.... to Top Secret. Location is Oklahoma City, OK.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    As part of an enterprise IT Operations Team (approx. 60 people), working in a very large enterprise operations environment with DoD-specific Security, Information Assurance, and Compliance requirements, serve as a SAN/NAS Support Administrator who will perform operations and maintenance and systems management functions in accordance with provided documentation/instructions and the support of Application Owners engineering and sustainment teams with the intent of securely running multiple hosted enterprise applications.  The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable about SAN, NAS, CIFS, NFS, RAID, NetApps, HP and Hitachi storage arrays and how it is typically installed, configured, patched, and monitored.  The candidate should also have hands-on experience with Linux and UNIX-based tools that are meant to automate the process of installing patches, files, and other enhancements or bug fixes onto test, staging, and production systems.

    Technical Duties and Functional Responsibilities:

    The ideal candidate should be able to perform the following:

    1. Manage and maintain currently supported Linux/Unix-based SAN and NAS equipment in a large enterprise production environment.

     

    1. Install, configure, maintain, manage, and troubleshoot SAN switches, storage arrays such as HP, NetApp, and SAN host adapters and configurations.

     

    1. Good understanding and experience with RAID technologies and RAID levels

     

    1. Experience troubleshooting SAN, NAS, and other storage array-related performance and outage issues

     

    1. Ensure SAN equipment is properly configured and functioning as documented with specified network and other storage components.

     

    1. Adequately validate functionality as per OS and application documentation; report findings to appropriate parties and work with them to resolve issues.

     

    1. Exhibit effective and professional interpersonal skills to include written and oral communications

     

    1. Assist to analyze, monitor, troubleshoot, and diagnose issues to ensure SAN and NAS optimization, integrity, availability, and functionality.

     

    1. Possess understanding and hands-on experience with Linux and other UNIX Operating Systems and Command Line Shells.

     

    1. Assist maintaining documents, processes, and procedures

     

    1. Interact with Tier 1 service desks, technical staff, and customers to resolve technical problems or provide information as requested. Escalate to and work with Tier 3 support engineers as needed based on operational priorities and user impact.

     

    1. Use provided ticket management system to properly document and resolve problems.

     

    1. Adhere to all applicable government and security requirements, processes, and regulations.

     

    1. Provide callback and after-hours support as needed on a rotating basis as scheduled.

     

    Qualifications

    • CompTIA SECURITY+ Certification is required within 6 months from start of work
    • SECURITY CLEARANCE:  S. Citizen; must be clearable.
    • Must have 1+ year of work experience with SAN (Brocade), Storage Arrays (HP or Hitachi), NAS (NetApp), CIFS, and NFS
